Facts

I thought I'd share some facts about Jack. He's getting so big, and he so much fun.

Favorite Foods: grilled cheese, macaroni and cheese, yogurt, bananas, pickles, zesty tomato lil crunchies, and gerber freeze dried fruit

Food he dislikes: eggs cooked anyway, cottage cheese

Favorite songs: abc's, three little ducks, patty cake

Favorite activities: exploring, crawling, walking, playing in his play area, peek-a-boo, play with daddy

Least favorite activities: getting dressed, diaper changes, waking up

Things he says: dad, dada, at- while pointing at things

Things we are working on: more signs, waving, socializing, some discipline

He still doesn't have any teeth I think we are going to make it to a year without any. He has more hair than he ever has, but it is very light and hard to see. He's getting very heavy. I'd say he might be close to 25lbs.

The bad person I am I usually neglect to close things when I'm finished with them. Well, Jack decided he wanted some Cheerios. He got a few more than he bargained for. Only I would run and grab the camera as he played with them, and even ate a few. Sam enjoyed grabbing a few too.

Our new puppy

I caught Jack doing this the other day. He decided to check out Sam's space. Lucky for Sam he wasn't in there at the time. Jack thought it was neat. He is always on the go exploring everything. Nothing escapes him, and he's watch my every move. He sees me push a button on the dishwasher, and guess what he's doing two minutes later? LOL. Keeps me busy!

What is old is new

Jack, is sporting his vintage 80's pj's. These are a great pair from Austin. I just love that he gets to wear them! They are so soft, and they seem really comfy. They are still a little big, but Jack didn't seem to mind.

awww...kissing Kennedy

This month is National Blogging month, and there is this thing that you can sign up for, and you are supposed to try to blog everyday for the entire month. I didn't sign up, but I was going to try it anyway. Well, I've already failed b/c I see that it is already the second, plus I won't have a computer in Mo so I guess forget it. We had a good day today. Jack, was walking everywhere! Many times all the way across the entire living room. He has gone his farthest distance yet! He is so cute. He gets so excited and wants to go really fast, almost like a run, and then he falls down. Then he tries to stand up and get moving fast, and just falls before he gets his balance. Once he gets this all figured out he is going to be running! Remember how we all said he'd be such a different baby once he could get going? It was true, he has his moments, but he is so happy now that he can go, go, go. Start baby proofing your houses now!! I hope he keeps it up so when we visit Mo everyone can enjoy all the kisses Jack likes to give. Once you get him started he just kisses and kisses. He has even learned to give Kennedy kisses. He was giving he sloppy ones on her eye today. All those baby kisses are the best. He got to enjoy some of a sucker today. He loved it, and he proceeded to share it with daddy, mommy, and he even tried to give sam a lick holding it out for all of us.

Trick-or-Treating

Well, Halloween is over, and I think it went very well. We had a good day today. Jack, Zach, and I carved our pumpkins. Jack, just decorated his with stickers. He really liked doing that. He'd put one on, and peel it off then put another on. We drove up to Pete and LeighAnn's to go trick-or-treating. The plan was to go to the mall. As kids we always went to the mall, and then around the neighborhoods. We figured it might be warmer inside, and I wanted to see everyone else all dressed up. Ended up being crazy traffic so we just turned around to go around the houses. Jack's costume seemed to be a hit. Most people had no problem guessing what he was. I was worried people might not know. His candy bucket is filled. I think I may even let him have a few licks of one of his suckers. He was very good. Just rode along in his stroller. A couple of times it looked like he might fall asleep, but he made it. Some people were dressed pretty scary, but it didn't seem to bother him. He just stared bug eyed at them. He was such a great Charlie Brown, great idea Grandma Nancy! His curly was done with eyeliner. He still has it on, he was so tired I didn't get it washed off before bed. I love the holidays. This one really brings back memories of my dad. He was so into Halloween. I hope all of Jack's will be just as much fun as mine were.
