Busy, Busy

Jack, and I have been pretty busy around here for the past couple of days. I actually have all the suitcases unpacked, and all of our laundry is done. I'm pretty proud of myself for that one. We are usually pulling things out of suitcases for a couple of weeks. I've been busy deleting e-mails I've got them down from 1500 to about 50. What a hassle that was. We also put the lights on the house, and I put the Christmas tree up last night. We still have to decorate it. So far Jack hasn't even tried to touch it, but I know once the ball decorations are on it we'll be in trouble. He has already spotted them in the clear container I have for them, and he's been trying to get them out ever since. More and more people are putting up lights around the neighborhood so things are getting really festive. I've been listening to Star 102 and KUDL on the computer for my Christmas music fix. We don't have any Christmas music station out here. It is supposed to be raining all weekend. It was raining really hard this morning. I love the rain. They say there might be a foot of snow in the mountains so we might take a trip to Julian this weekend.

I finally found a spare minute to blog about Jack's birthday. I still can't believe it is all over. The party went really well. I was very pleased with the decorations. Jack, was getting a little cranky because he was getting tired, but we never did have a melt down. He wasn't sure what to do with his cake at first, but when I showed him he could stick his hands in it he went to town. Everyone was surrounding him with cameras ready and waiting. He got many lovely gifts. We are having to ship them to the house. Lots of new clothes, and that is something we needed. Also, lots of new Chiefs outfits, yay! I never cried, and I really thought that I would. I shed a few tears up to the party thinking about all of it. It was a really great day. Full of lots of smiles, and tons of laughter. I thank everyone for coming, and for the great gifts they brought!

Jack and I slept in nearly everyday of our vacation. It was very nice, but now that we are home he has decided to get up before the sun. I think I've had 3 hours sleep. I thought I'd share some pictures.

Home sweet home

Okay, ya'll, (yes, i just said ya'll ;) ) know i just couldn't go to bed without a new post. We are home, and I am on my beloved internet. Checking website, looking at mail, and reading some blogs. We had to great flights. I recommend taking late flights if you have to fly with little ones. Both flights were empty enough that we could spread out. The first flight was 2 or 3 hours and Zach slept in the row behind me, Jack was spread out asleep in the seat to my left. Jack, slept the entire flight, thank goodness. I couldn't sleep b/c Jack kept moving around and I didn't want him to fall. So, I was bored so I snuck Sam out of his cage, and he curled up in his own seat on my right hidden under a sweatshirt. By the way we got away with it for those of you that know what I mean ;) The second flight was less than an hour, and Jack was raring to go. Like a good boy though he sat in his seat between Zach and I, and he ate snacks. He also looked out the window at all the twinkling lights. We talked about how they looked like the Christmas lights we saw with grandma. Now, I just dread the unpacking. Zach said we can't live out of the suite cases for a month so I guess I'll have to get to it. I want to try to get our Christmas decorations up in a few days also. Glad to be home, but at the same time I'm not. I'm sure you know what I mean. I'm off to bed. Sorry, for the typos it is late, and I'm not editing.
