I am finally finished uploading pictures to my external hard drive. Technology and I don't seem to get along even though I love it. I had to make two returns to BB to finally get what I wanted. I am still having a little issue that I am going to have to call support people about. Rather than just letting me click one back up of all photos and videos something went nuts so I had to copy, and move every individual file off my computer. Plus I uploaded all of my picture cds from out old computer. It just scares me that with one scratch everything could be gone, or one crash of the hard drive I guess. The goal is to have things backed up three ways, cds, external, and a photo site. I was telling Zach I think they need to do something to revolutionize the digital photo thing. Unless things change we are just going to have tons of hard drives, and millions of picture cds. I feel relief that it is done though. I was really worried about all of Jack's baby pictures. I think I might even try to print a few pics each week, and just get them into a simple album.
Zach, leaves for Monday for JTF. He goes down to the border to do I don't know what. Concrete I think this time. Last few times they have gone they built border fences. That goes for a month or whenever they are done, and then two more months of training for Iraq. Yes, it is that time of year again ladies and gentlemen. It bites. I love my Jelly, but I'm not sure I'm looking forward to it just being him and I. I do enjoy that much needed break sometimes when Zach gets home from work. We have plenty to keep us busy though. I'm hoping to take him out to play a little more since he loves going outside. A new park by our house should be opening soon.
Updates on Jack, he still has only one tooth. He says I think "this" comes out as "dis", and I think he might say thank you. He usually says something as I give him something, but I just can't catch what it is. He is starting to play more with his toys. He has also had a very bad diaper rash for the past few days with blisters and everything. Very abnormal because he has never had diaper rash. I think it is due to teething. With much attention, and a few hours of running around without a diaper he is finally on the mend.
:(
LeighAnn, just letting you know you guys are missed. Pete is here and it just isn't the same without you. In fact can you guess what he's doing right now? Yep, he's passed out on the sofa ;) We may just let him sleep, lol. I told Zach it just feels like you are on vacation. So when are you coming home?! Miss ya!

Something new
Check out our new stove. Yes, I know I am a nerd for posting a pic of my stove. I just love new things. I love it even though it is just the basic model. Our oven died the other day. I preheated my oven for 15 minutes, and when I went to put in my pizza the oven was cold. One of the many pluses of living in military housing we just called maintenance, and they brought a new one. Thank goodness we didn't have to pay out of pocket for something like this. I love it because it is shiny, new, and CLEAN! Our old one was pretty disgusting despite great attempts to make it nice. The goal is to keep it that way. So far it has already been cleaned twice, and I only got it yesterday. As for the rest of the house it is a total wreck, and it is driving me crazy. Today I was lacking energy and momentum to do anything. I need to start sleeping better. I stay up so late and that gets everything so mixed up. I have bad insomnia.
Up half the night
We experienced our first bought of child illness last night. I put Jack to bed, and he just cried not wanting to go to sleep. That was strange because he doesn't do that anymore. I let him be and after a while I went to go get him, and Zach said to leave him and let him fall asleep. So I did despite the banging upstairs. He has taken to banging on the wall I think. When I checking on him before I went to bed his room smelled. I figured it was a stray diaper. Upon checking Jack in his crib I soon realized that smell was vomit. Figuring he might have spit up a little after crying to hard I went to move him a little. I picked him up and soon realized he was covered, so was the bed, and his blankets. Great! Now, I felt horrible because he was sleeping in a puddle of disgustingness. I took him to our room, woke him up, wiped him down, and changed his pj's. He was cranky from the rude awakening, but in good spirits. Sitting there on our bed all fresh and clean he threw up again all over. So, I stripped Jack, Zach stripped our bed, and Jack went into the tub. I got him cleaned up and new pj's again. Again with Jack in our bed I watched a little t.v., and I let Jack sit there chewing on his toothbrush. I figured this might be because of his teeth. He wanted my water so we went downstairs to get some. Sitting on the love-seat he threw up again! Time again for more pj's and a wipe down. All during this laughing and smiling. No temp. so I don't think he was ill. I'm thinking it was teeth, or maybe the tomato sauce he had for dinner. I finally got him back into his crib for the night at 1. Poor baby I felt so bad for him. He seems just fine this morning.

I'm crazy
Okay, can I share my crazy dream with you? I was trying to take a nap on new years eve, and ended up not sleeping that well. I dreamed about this GIANT moose. The thing was taller than the house. Somehow the moose became friendly so it was in the house. It was actually in the gymnasium in my house because for some reason my house had a full size gym. Also, in the gym were all these little kids like a class or something. Then, and this is totally gross, the moose started it's period. So I went and looked it up on the internet, and read that a moose gets mean and crazy then, so I was freaking out trying to figure out how to save all these little kids from this hormone enraged moose. I woke up then not knowing if I saved the kids or what happened. Needless to say it was a horrible nap. I tried to piece together the madness. All could come up with was the moose because I had just read an email about a farmer that uses a moose to work, and the kids in the gym come from my prime time days. Yes, I am crazy :)
