1. Wrapping paper or gift bag? Paper, it is fun to unwrap the gift
2. Real or Artificial tree? I like both, but we have an artificial tree
3. When do you put up the tree? Usually the day after thanksgiving, we were late this year
4. When do you take the tree down? Sometime the first week of January
5. Do you like Eggnog? Yes, very yummy! No alcohol though
6. Favorite gift you received as a child? chalkboard, art stuff, barbies, when I was older my Angel from my dad
7. Do you have a nativity scene, menorah etc? No
8. Hardest person to buy for? brother or sister
9. Easiest person to buy for? Jack or Zach
10. Worst Christmas gift ever received? I don't want to say, but nothing too horrible
11. Christmas Cards...Snail mail or E-mail? Christmas Card, but maybe not this year

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? All the goodies, Christmas cookie, grandma's breakfast
16. Clear lights or colored on the tree? Both, our tree has a remote that can turn on colored, white, or both at the same time
17. Favorite Christmas Song? All of them. I keep it tuned to Star 102 on the computer. Favorites, Trans Siberian Orchestra Wizards in Winter, White Christmas, and Jingle Bells
18. Travel at Christmas or Stay Home? Stay home, but I'd like to be with family so we'd have to travel

20. Do you have an Angel or a Star on top of your tree? Angel
21. Open the Presents Christmas Eve or Morning? One present Christmas Eve, the rest Christmas morning
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? Nothing annoys me

24. Do you decorate outside for Christmas or just inside (or at all?) Inside and out, we have lights on the outside

Getting to Know you Holiday Style
Welcome to the 'Holiday Edition' of getting to know your friends. Try not to be a SCROOGE!!!
1. Wrapping paper or gift bag? Paper, it is much more fun to unwrap the gift
2. Real or Artificial tree? Artificial is more practical
3. When do you put up the tree? Day after Thanksgiving.
4. When do you take the tree down? Normally first of Jan. but this year, it will be Christmas day as we are moving 4 days later!
5. Do you like Eggnog? Yes
6. Favorite gift you received as a child? A great Art Set!
7. Do you have a nativity scene, menorah etc? Yes, but not out this year... Didn't want to have to pack everything back up again!
8. Hardest person to buy for? Son-inlaw and Daughter-in-law
9. Easiest person to buy for? Constance and Ivy
10. Worst Christmas gift ever received? Probably clothing that was the wrong size, color or style.
11. Christmas Cards...Snail mail or E-mail? Christmas cards for sure. I love getting a personal card from someone. Knowing they took time out of their day for me.
13. Have you ever 'recycled' a Christmas present? Yes, this year, but the ladies in the Bible study knew that!
14. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? My mom's fudge!
15. Clear lights or colored on the tree? White for the tree. I think next year we are going to do a red/white/blue theme though.

19. Do you have an Angel or a Star on top of your tree? This year, neither... we went very basic... Like I said MOVING!
20. Open the Presents Christmas Eve or Morning? Well our family tradition (Dave, I and the kids) was to open Christmas Eve because the ADULTS couldn't wait. But I want to revert back to Christmas morning now that the girls are here.
21. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? How everyone is so worried about affending another religion, or saying Merry Christmas. Get over it. It is Christ's Birthday!
23. Shopping...Mall or on-line? Actually on-line and Wal-mart!

25. Favorite Christmas cookie? Don't really have one, but love fudge!
26. Do you own Christmassy clothing or jewelry? Yes on both of those items. But haven't pulled them out this year. I was given a headband with antlers this a.m. at work and have been wearing them all morning!
27. Do you believe in Santa? I think he is fun thing for kids to believe in, but I know what the real meaning of Christmas is and that is what I focus on.

Grandkids now because they are so young!

I'm not putting a tree up this year but always was the angel that Amy and Grandma made in elementary school out of a toilet paper roll and yarn. So precious. Do you have it on your tree Amy?
