Life at 1572: Ten on Tuesday

Ten on Tuesday

Here is another Ten on Tuesday.  I think I am going to have a hard time coming up with ten things.

1. I am sick again for the second weekend in a row.  This time it is cough, cold, and fever.  It left me wiped out, and sleeping half of Mother's Day away.

2. I am trying to wash every bit of laundry I have.  Laundry is my kryptonite, so it just piles and piles.  My laundry is only completely  done when my mother comes and does all of it.  Sad  I know.  I think I have all of the clothes finished, and I am now on the blankets portion of things.

3. I may or may not have spent a good part of the morning googling "how to fold a fitted sheet" and then watching numerous videos.  While I have tried Martha Stewarts version in the past it has never turned out right.  So I settled on this.

4. I am still very behind on my blogging.

5. Um, some of you might have noticed the hubby has started commenting on the blog.  Yay hubby!  I was a bit surprised to see him fishing for comments in the post below.  While yes blogging does take time and effort I am very happy to do it.  It is usually the hubby that is bugging reminding me I haven't posted in a while.  The comments are his favorite part.  He loves to read them, and gets excited when I have more than say one.

6. Jack had another show-and-tell today at school.  He took his Thomas train.  I bet he will have lots to say about it. He has all of the train lingo down, and it is very entertaining.  Lately when something makes him mad he shouts, "Well bust my buffers!"

7. Jack helped me to bake some yummy banana bread over the weekend.  Jack loves to help me in the kitchen especially when it involves the mixer.   I don't actually care for the bread, but everyone else enjoyed it, and it was gone in a few days.  I just want to get back to cooking and baking from scratch.

8. I just started Laura Bush's new book Spoken From The Heart so far it has been very good.  I have been wanting to read more biographies.  If you have any recommendations please let me know.

9. I am crocheting again.  I like that it keeps me busy.  I always have 10 projects going at once.  I have whipped up a few dishcloths.  If you would like to put in a request for a few just let me know.

10. Well, I have come this far and I can't think of a number 10.  So I will just say I hope you have a happy Tuesday.

Crocheting is one more thing to keep you from doing your laundry! It keeps me from doing lots of things but I do so enjoy it. Let me know if you are looking for any kind of patterns - I have volumes!! I love you and miss you. Hugs to all of you.

I am the same way with folding fitted sheets. I can never fold them. My mom has showed me multiple times and I never can get it right. Hope you are feeling better. Jack is so cute "Well bust my buffers" i couldn't stop laughing.
Love and miss you
