Life at 1572: So tired

So tired

It is 10:30 and I am dead tired. I know you are thinking, then just go to bed. I can't. I always feel like there is so much more for me to get done. As they say not enough hours in the day. I have made a vow to myself and Jack that we will get out of this house while Zach is gone. In a strange way it is kind of hard for me to get out of the house to do things. Especially, since I hate to drive. I have a hard time out here because most places you have to take the highway, and it scares the crap out of me to drive on the highway. I start to panic, and having Jack with me makes my anxiety even worse. I know I can do it though. I have driven on every highway out here with Zach in the car with me. I just did this maybe 6 months ago or so, and we've lived here for nearly 3 years. I've actually only driven on a highway alone once in my life. With that being said though we can't just sit here all day long everyday. I'm determined to get out at least a few times a week for our sanity. So, if you don't see me writing about our outings then feel free to give me a talking to. Today, we went to the new park that opened by our house. There is also a new clubhouse and pool. I can't wait for the pool to open. The playground equipment is really nice. There are at least 4 slides that are the perfect size for Jack. He had fun running around, and climbing everything. He is learning to climb stairs by holding the railing. He hasn't grasped how to sit down to go down the slide. He just gets to the top of the slide, stands there and signs "more" to me. There were tons of kids there today, and he had some problems with that. He'd be going up the stairs, spot a kid, and freeze like a deer in headlights. We both enjoyed being out since it was such a nice day. 80 degrees, don't be jealous! That was our outing for the day.

Love the new header! You are so good at this stuff! As far as the California highways I know exactly how you feel. When mom and I were there for a week the ONLY time we were on the highway was following Paula (sister-in-law) to the airport for the flight home! I'm sure you'll get the hang of it and in the meantime you can enjoy being outside closer to home! Love you!!
