Life at 1572: Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day!

We had a really good day today. I had a very late night last night so we didn't think we would go to our early church service this morning. I knew I wanted to make Zach some breakfast for his day today. I decided on pancakes, but they didn't have any Bisquick at the store, and that shake and pour stuff they have is way over priced. I decided I would just make it from scratch since I had all the ingredients. Anyway, since we weren't getting up early I figured we could sleep in a little. Wrong. Jack, woke at the crack of dawn, and then Zach decided to jump out of bed to shower. I knew he would go down for breakfast next so I had to get up to beat him to it. We ate yummy pancakes, and sat around in our pjs. At 7:30 when we are usually out the door for church I joked that we should try to make our 8:00 service. Zach, said we should do it so we jumped up and got ready in about 5 minutes, lol. We actually did make it to church on time. We just really enjoy that first service so much more than what they have the rest of the day.

The rest of the day was spent lounging around all afternoon. When Jack took his nap Zach, and I each grabbed a sofa and passed out. We went on a search for a new cell phone charger for me because apparently Jack likes to shock himself by chewing on mine. The think finally kicked the bucket. I felt kind of bad that we wasted such a beautiful day inside so we ended our day with some outside play. We played with bubbles, hide and seek, and we went to the park. Jack, is getting so big. I am amazed at all the new things he can do. This morning we had him say "Happy Dada Day" on mother's day he couldn't say the Happy part. It was very cute.

Honey, we love you very much, and we really appreciate all that you do for our family! xxoxxoo
