Bedhead anyone?

We haven't been doing much of anything. Zach, is back to work from his leave. Jack, has been sick for the past week. Nothing but a fountain coming out of his nose. It is really gross, and the poor kid just isn't catching on to this blow your nose thing. Jackson did pee in the potty the other day. We jumped around, and got excited for him, but I don't think he really knew what he did. We haven't been pushing the potty training. Mostly I am trying to teach him how to tell us when he has done something in his diaper. I read an article the other day that said the average boy toddler isn't potty trained until 31 months, and girls are just a bit before that. So, we aren't in a rush. I've also read several things that says the earlier you start then the longer it takes. If you just let them lead the way then it can be just a matter of days. As for now if he says he wants to sit on his potty we take off his diaper, and let him sit there. The day when he peed he got involved reading books so he sat there a while.
The other day I started looking at preschools for him. I know it is really early, but being out here in California preschool is really competitive. Tons of the schools out here have an age limit of two as the cut off for enrollment even if they won't be attending until age three. The preschools out here actually take the applications while the baby is in utero. I think it has to do with people wanting good schools, and we have such a high population. I'm not sure what we are going to do. I really want him to go to the school academy through our church, but the tuition is on the high side. We will have to see.

OH what a big boy he is using his potty chair, even though he may not use it again for a while. Love the "bedhead" pics too. GREAT look for him. Show's off how red his hair is getting.

Hugs and kisses.

Don't touch him --you will get shocked!!! Pics are cute.
Having 2 boys, yes, DON'T rush the boys in potty training or you will be starting all over again from the beginning.I know mine were close to 3 when we were trained & out of diapers. Peeing is not the problem of training, know what I mean??
Daycare??? Yes, freedom costs a pretty penny!Do you have mom's day out there? Seems so far away, but in a blink off to Kindergarten.Talk later
