Life at 1572: Home again, Home again Jiggity Jig

Home again, Home again Jiggity Jig

We went to the lake last night after Zach got off work. It was glorious just to get outside, and to get a little exercise. We let Jack check out the ducks, and maybe next time I will remember to bring some bread for them. I tried some silhouette pictures of the boys since the sun was setting. Then we just walked around the lake, and let Jack run to his heart’s content. I was glad to get outside after what seemed like a long winter for me in Missouri.

We have just been relaxing at home since Jack and I have been back. The house is a disaster, and I just can’t find the energy to get things back in order. We have a 911 for spring cleaning around here. Something tells me I shouldn’t have told Zach not to worry about the house that it didn’t need to be perfect for my return. I definitely have a mountain of laundry that might just sit there until next week. Zach met me at the airport with flowers, and a Thomas train for Jackson. We really missed each other, and it feels good to be home.

Oh, I am so happy that you blogged. Have missed this so much and the pics are awesome. Take time and enjoy each other. The house and laundry are little things compared to the joy of family.

Love you all.
