Life at 1572: Mother's Day Tea Party

Mother's Day Tea Party

Jackson's preschool had a tea party for all of the mommies this afternoon.  They sang us songs, and made us gifts.  It was so precious.  Then we had a nice tea party that consisted of sweets, and little sandwiches.  The kids indulged on the food more than the moms.  Jack helped himself to two mini cupcakes, his favorite treat.  After his tea party he grabbed a quick nap, and then we headed out the door to see How to Train Your Dragon.  It was a wonderful movie.  Jack loves dragons so I thought it would be a hit with him, but I had also heard it might not be the best for little kids.  Jack did just fine except he was a little too chatty wanting to talk about the dragons so we had to move to the back of the theatre.  It was a great afternoon, but it might not be heading into a nice evening.  We are on our second round of timeout for not listening.  A stubborn little boy doesn't want to clean up his mess.

It might happen to me since I made a comment about Nancy double posting. I commented & it didn't post???

Anyway as I said before, I really like these pics because it lets us see Jack's life at preschool, being with other kids. The only time i saw him play with kids his age was Wed nights at the "nursery church". Fun to see!
