I'm taking a break from all this cleaning to goof around on the Internet and blog for a minute. I've actually been doing some laundry today. I'm on my 4th load. I didn't realize we had so much to do. I'm breaking from organizing the cabinets. I've been throwing some things away. I have a hard time doing that, but it feels good to get rid of things I haven't seen or used in such a long time. While I've been cleaning I have been thinking about this whole going Green thing. What do you think about all of this organic, help the environment stuff? Think it is all just a fad? I know doing the right things will help the environment, but maybe everyone is jumping on a band wagon. I'm not sure. I've been thinking about maybe switching some of my cleaning products to some that are more natural. It is more expensive, but it just seems like it would be better for our health since they don't contain all of those toxins. I try to do my part in small ways. I try to conserve energy with the lights and the water. We also recycle what we can. We buy organic at the commissary when we can find it. It all seems like the right thing to do, I just wonder how much of a difference it really makes in the end.

I use my steamer for cleaning all the time. And every light socket has an energy bulb in it icluding my stove hood light , porch light, garage opener lights. And I have noticed that i haven't bought any light blubs for a long time. They are to last 5 yrs, which I believe it. Funny , Eric always teases me about how much i beleive in solar power. If i was to build a house today it would be solar plus other "green" ideas. I believe its going to be the only way future generations are going to survive financially, saving on ulitilies and the money will go to fuel in the cars!
